Age Of Empire 3 is the last serie of the franchise, it's the real-time stategic game it has made several innovations in the series, in particular with the addition of the "Home City", which combines real-time strategy and role-playing game features. Players begin with a constructed town center or a wagon, an explorer and several settlers (the number of settlers depends on which civilization you are playing with). Players explore the map and begin gathering resources used to build additional units and buildings and to research upgrades or technologies.
